Costs
We are excited to offer an early bird registration fee for the 2025 Learning and Technology Symposium! Early bird registration ensures that both groups and individuals are afforded the same opportunity for savings when registering. We are also happy to announce that we have reduced the cost of registration that was charged at prior Symposia.
Early bird registration is set at $125 per person (in a group or individual). Thereafter, only groups of 5 or more will receive the discounted registration price of $125 per person. Individual registration fee will increase to $175 per person on April 2, 2025.
Individual Registration:
Group Registration (5 or more):
- Registration: $125 per person
- On-Site Registration: not available
- Full payment for all participants must be completed at the time of registration
What is included with registration? Registration covers attendance at all the conference events, break service, lunch, and a refreshment break Monday and Tuesday.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Payment Policy
- Access to the conference will not be provided until full payment is received.
- Conference registration must be paid with a credit card.
Substitution Policy
Substitutions to a different attendee is allowed one time are allowed one time and must be made by Friday, May 2, 2025 (four weeks before the event). No substitutions or conversions will be allowed after this date.
- Substitutions:
- No substitution fee is assessed.
- The request for substitution, along with the name and email address of the previous registrant plus the substitute must be emailed to learning.tech@northcarolina.edu
Cancellation Policy
The UNC System Learning and Technology Symposium is funded by sponsorships and registration fees. State funds are not used to sustain this important event. Therefore, our refund policy is strictly applied to cover venue, food, and beverage commitments.
- 30 days or more before the event (by Friday, May 2, 2025, 12:00 pm ET): Individual or group package registration is cancelable with a refund.
- Cancellation request must be submitted in writing to learning.tech@northcarolina.edu by this deadline.
- For individuals: A $35 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- For groups: A $35 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refunded amount and the group package cancellation will result in the cancellation of all attendees registered through that group package.
- Within 30 days of the event (after Saturday, May 3, 2025): No cancellations are allowed. No refunds will be issued for cancellation or non-attendance.
Non-attendance or Change in Form of Conference
If you do not attend the program and do not submit a written request for refund or substitution request by Friday, May 2, 12:00 pm ET, no refunds will be given. The Learning and Technology Symposium is not responsible for any change/cancellation charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, hotels or other similar vendors.
The UNC System Learning and Technology Symposium Planning Committee strives to deliver this event as scheduled. However, we reserve the right to reschedule and/or restructure due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances. Should the event delivery mode need to be changed, all registrants will be automatically converted to registrations for a virtual event.
