Considering the significant effects of Hurricane Helene on institutions and communities throughout western North Carolina, we are eager to highlight the natural beauty of this region and to acknowledge the resilience displayed in overcoming adversity. By choosing App State as our venue, we aim to not only support the economic vitality of the area but also draw inspiration from the remarkable strength exhibited by its communities.<\/p>\n<p>The convening will be an opportunity for institutions to develop ideas, share best practices, and discuss the mechanisms and steps needed to nurture a healthy and resilient student body. We are delighted to present this convening in partnership with the North Carolina Community Colleges and North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities to expand this important dialogue across the state.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO:<\/strong> UNC System, NC Community Colleges, and NC Independent Colleges &amp;
