Clery Act Notification to Prospective Employees

Fayetteville State University prepared an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, which is available to all current and prospective employees and students. The report includes statistics concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Fayetteville State University, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual misconduct, timely warnings, and other campus safety matters. Important Applicant Details

Fayetteville State University shall conduct background checks for an applicant who is selected as the final candidate for all SHRA, EHRA, EHRA Faculty full-time and part-time positions, prior to the final candidate's employment date. An employment background check includes a criminal background check, employment verification, reference checks, license verification (if applicable), academic verification and credit history check (if applicable).

To receive credit for your work history and credentials, you must list the information on the SHRA/EHRA Application. Any information omitted from the application cannot be considered for qualifying credit. "See Resume" or attachments that are not required are not acceptable in lieu of the SHRA/EHRA Application.
