Happy Friday everyone,
A few announcements and updates pertaining to some of the new technology in the Dillon:
LENOVO HEADSETS:
Resources on how to set up your headsets, and a demo of the features, have been added to the IT initiatives page here. An End User Services staff member will be located in each Dillon conference room on Monday morning from 11 a.m.-noon for questions.
TEAMS ROOMS:
The audio-visual capabilities of the conference rooms (1704, 1705, 1708, 1803, 1804, 1823) have been or are in the process of being outfitted with Teams Rooms. This will allow the rooms to be used to seamlessly host Teams meetings with groups of individuals.
We will host several trainings on how to use the rooms in the coming weeks. See the End User Services staff member in each Dillon conference room on Monday morning for immediate questions.
LAPTOP REFRESH & REIMAGING PROJECT:
We have had to slow down this project due to the resources needed for the Raleigh move but will be kick-starting this effort again soon. This project will take several months based on volume and staff schedules. If it takes some time for us to reach out to you, please don’t be concerned. We will reach out to every staff member individually over the coming months to let you know if you are scheduled to get a new laptop or if we will be reimaging your existing laptop.
