Having been founded in 1867, Fayetteville State University is the second-oldest institution of higher education in the state. As a Historically Black University, FSU strives to meet the educational, career, and personal aspirations of its students from rural, military, and other diverse backgrounds in order to equip them with academic and practical knowledge to serve local, state, national, and global communities as enlightened citizens, globally astute leaders, and engaged solution creators.<\/p>\n
As a Teaching Fellow at FSU, you will have the opportunity to participate in numerous enrichment activities such as engaging in faculty\/student research, attending local and national STEM\/Special Education conferences, one-on-one mentorship from a content specialist, and civic and community engagement.<\/p>\n
