{"id":3701,"date":"2019-02-27T16:59:31","date_gmt":"2019-02-27T21:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/myapps.northcarolina.edu\/p12division\/?page_id=3701"},"modified":"2019-04-04T15:57:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-04T19:57:00","slug":"educator-preparation-advisory-group-goals-metrics-and-strategies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/myapps.northcarolina.edu\/p12division\/advisory-groups\/educator-preparation-advisory-group-goals-metrics-and-strategies\/","title":{"rendered":"Educator Preparation Advisory Group Goals, Metrics, and Strategies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The UNC System\u2019s Educator Preparation Advisory Group is charged with identifying system-level goals and prioritized strategies and initiatives to accelerate improvement in teacher preparation across the UNC System, beginning with those recommended in the System Office\u2019s 2018 report,<em> Leading on Literacy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Between October 2018 and February 2019, members identified and prioritized goals, metrics, and strategies to propose to broader stakeholder groups across the P20 education spectrum in North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>The outline below shows the Advisory Group&#8217;s proposed goals and strategies, alongside proposed metrics for measuring progress toward each goal.
