About UNC Finley Golf Course<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Finley Golf Course is home to the men\u2019s and women\u2019s golf teams at UNC Chapel Hill. The course was originally built in 1949 by A.E. Finley, a prominent Raleigh businessman. Over the years there have been several renovations and additions. The course was originally designed by Tom Fazio and most recently underwent a major renovation that began in the fall of 2022. This effort was led by UNC graduate and professional golfer Davis Love III. Perhaps the most noticeable change is the front and back nine holes have been reversed, as recommended by Love. In addition, some holes were relocated, and an expanded practice facility opened. The Chancellors\u2019 Cup Golf Tournament was previously hosted by Finley in 2022.<\/p>\n
