As we move into the holiday season and prepare for the upcoming holiday break, we want to ensure all employees are aware of important TIM deadlines and leave reminders. Please take a moment to review the information below to ensure your timecards are updated accurately before the break.

Biweekly TIM Reminders

With the holiday break approaching, please review your SHRA/biweekly timecards. For the upcoming pay period (Dec. 15 – Dec. 28), employees and managers must approve timecards by noon on Monday, Dec. 29If you will be on leave during this period, please submit and approve timecards before starting your break.

Monthly TIM Reminders

EHRA employees hired on or after Jan. 1, 2025, automatically receive EHRA Personal Leave. EHRA employees hired before that date receive Annual Leave, but may opt into the Personal Leave program. EHRA Personal Leave functions similarly to Annual Leave, but the earnings and accrual structure differ.

EHRA Personal Leave

  • Any EHRA Personal Leave over 160 hours (20 days) will be forfeited at year-end.
  • Please check your leave balances in your timecard.
  • Use the EHRA Personal Leave pay code when recording this leave.

EHRA Annual Leave

  • Any Annual Leave over 240 hours (30 days) will be converted to sick leave.
  • In TIM, Annual Leave appears as Vacation Leave, so please continue using the Vacation Leave pay code when entering leave taken.

Viewing Accurate Leave Accruals

To view your most accurate and up-to-date leave accruals, please do the following:

  • Click the “My Timecard” tile in TIM
  • Scroll down and expand the Accruals tab at the bottom of the screen

This will display your current balances clearly and help you plan any year-end leave use.

Closed Days

On winter break closed days (Dec. 29-30), the office is officially closed. Employees may:

  • Use vacation, bonus, or personal observance leave or accrued comp time
  • Work remotely with prior supervisory approval
