ConnectCarolina has made changes to its look and navigation effective Monday, May 20, which will make it even easier to view your paystub, register for training, change your benefits, and find other self-service tools.
Changes you’ll notice on May 20 include:
- Only one log in button for ConnectCarolina on connnectcarolina.unc.edu. Students, parents, proxies, faculty, and staff will all use the same button to log on.
- In ConnectCarolina, you’ll land on a new home page that has tiles, much like your smartphone or tablet, and they’ll take you where you need to go.
- The home page will be based on your work at the University. For example, if you only use ConnectCarolina to see your paystub, register for training, or change your benefits, you’ll see the Self Service home page when you log in. But if you use the system for your job, you’ll see the Admin WorkCenter home page.
- You can change which home page you want to see first when you log in. Find more information on home pages, including how to change which one you see when you log in.
It’ll be easier to find your paystub. Once you’re in ConnectCarolina and on the Self Service home page, you’ll click the My Pay and Taxes tile to open the paystub page. Watch a short video on finding your paystub.
If you need to update your address, phone number, or cell phone for emergency contacts, you’ll be able to do that in ConnectCarolina using the new Personal Information tile. If you wish to opt in or out of UNC-Chapel Hill mass emails, you’ll still need to go to directory.unc.edu and update your personal information.
If you have questions about the changes, take a look at the ConnectCarolina Makeover page, submit a help request at help.unc.edu or send an email to cc_communications@unc.edu.
