ComPsych, our Employee Assistance Program provider, has gathered together resources that may be of assistance to you and your loved ones if you are dealing with a crisis situation or talking with others about a crisis such as the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

ComPsych’s Crisis Toolkit includes a resource guide, a recorded webinar on coping after a traumatic event, and guidance on dealing with trauma. They also offer a seven-minute pre-recorded training session on talking with children about violent events that have widespread media coverage, such as the Uvalde tragedy.

ComPsych offers free, confidential counseling and resources to all UNC System employees and their families to help deal with both personal and work-related concerns, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
