The Headspace app benefit will no longer be offered to System Office, PBS NC, and NCSEAA employees after Sept. 30. However, new coaching and digital self-care tools are now available through the ComPsych EAP to continue access to meaningful mental health support.
If you currently use Headspace therapy or psychiatry services, you have two options:
- You can choose a new provider outside of Headspace and ask Headspace to transfer your medical records
- You can continue to use Headspace but UNC will no longer pay for the services you receive; if you choose this option, you will work with Headspace directly and have an individual account.
You will have seven days of limited access after Sept. 30 to reach out to Headspace to determine if you’d like to continue access.
