This is a reminder that we have our on-site HR Council Meeting on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the UNC Center for School Leadership Development in Chapel Hill. The meeting will run from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm in the Board Room. The agenda for Wednesday’s meeting is attached.
As you will notice from reviewing the agenda we have scheduled a two hour block for an update and demo of a talent management solution from Buck Consultants and Cornerstone OnDemand. I am pleased to announce that the UNC System Office has completed all due diligence and has awarded a contract to Cornerstone OnDemand as the new talent management system vendor.
In the coming weeks we will begin the process of pre-implementation planning with Buck and Cornerstone. The implementation of a talent management system will require significant assessment and preparation activities relative to people, process and technology across each constitution institution that participates in the pilot program. These activities will include:
- Project management
- Organizational design
- KPIs and SLAs
- Implementation resources
- Policies and procedures
- Process improvement
- Change readiness
- Data conversion
- System integration
- Business analytics strategy
- Decommission of systems
- Downstream system impacts
- Mobility
