Ruth is a great example of what quiet, gracious, and dedicated service looks like. My first interaction with Ruth was during a large training event we hosted in the System Office for our UNC faculty and staff. For many days, she graciously – and without acknowledgement – helped with caterers and vendors who were arriving for the event (even though the event wasn’t for her dept and she wasn’t even asked to help). Ruth has a quiet and mighty spirit of service and I’m quite thankful!
