President’s Award for Excellence Nomination Form

The President’s Award for Excellence recognizes up to four System Office employees each year for substantial contributions toward the goals set in the Strategic Plan – for demonstrating their commitment to “making North Carolina the nation’s leader in affordability, accessibility, student success, economic impact, and excellent and diverse institutions.”

Supervisory and non-supervisory positions are recognized each year. Each recipient receives $1,000 and an award, and will be nominated for the statewide Governor’s Award for Excellence. Any System Office staff member may nominate a colleague. Senior Vice Presidents review the nominations and make recommendations to the President.
