Round of Applause: Daphne Dow

Daphne possesses valuable knowledge and experience working with Excel, far beyond the routine spreadsheet applications. She is always willing to consult on uses I may be less familiar with and help problem-solve to get the results I’m after. Sharing her knowledge, Daphne has broadened the Excel capability of our team. She’s the Excel Jedi Master for our group!

Round of Applause: Angelisa Riggsbee

Angelisa always has a full plate providing outstanding support for the CFO and the Board, but cheerfully adds more whenever it’s needed. As we prepared for the move to Raleigh, she kept everyone informed, organized, and on schedule to make the transition as smooth as possible. Now that we’re here, she makes sure she’s available to validate parking whenever it’s needed. Others might sigh at the interruption or roll their eyes at yet another person with a parking request, but Angelisa greets us like she’s glad to see us and sends us on our way cheered and validated. It’ such a pleasure to work with Angelisa and a model for me to emulate!

Round of Applause: Ramdan Maarad

Ramdan consistently provides stellar customer service. Whether by text, call, teams message or help ticket, you can count on Ramdan to respond quickly with a few trusty solutions to your problem. If his initial “bag of tricks” is not successful, you can guarantee he’ll reach out with options to meet and troubleshoot the dilemma. Even in the midst of moving to Raleigh, and all of IT’s responsibilities, Ramdan was never too busy to help with what I’m sure could be considered minor tech issues.

Round of Applause: Melania Hall

Melania Hall is the best of the best! She is always willing to assist me when I am stuck with an issue I have not encountered before. She will send me detailed line-by-line instructions with pictures to boot. She is always pleasant and willing to go many extra miles to assist me as well as my department. If there is an employee of the year I would nominate her for that too. She is the most deserving person I know.

Round of Applause: Xiaoyan Qi

Xiaoyan consistently does an excellent job working with multiple teams to accommodate our requests. She is able to take our ideas for how complex functions should work in the DataMart and translate that into code that seamlessly executes. We have regularly scheduled work, but we also have unexpected and quick turnaround requests that she is always able to complete on time. Recently, with staff turnover and absences, she has taken on additional responsibilities, quickly learning new data elements and making sure that all DataMarts and reporting stays on schedule. She has gone above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly and deserves 10 rounds of applause.
