In the wake of the destruction in Western North Carolina caused by Hurricane Helene, we wanted to remind those affected that the Secure Act 2.0 added plan provisions that may allow for new hardship withdrawal opportunities for natural disasters and emergency expenses from the UNC Supplemental 403(b) retirement plan. Please note: This does not apply to the UNC Optional Retirement Program (ORP).
