Reviewing your December 2024 check stub is vital! Please make sure your January 2025 State Health Plan insurance deductions are correct. Also, don’t forget about your 2024 Flexible Spending Account deadlines.

State Health Plan

Any benefit election you made during Open Enrollment for the State Health Plan takes effect on January 1, 2025. Remember to review your most recent paycheck to ensure that the plan you elected is reflected with the corresponding deductions. Deductions for health care are withheld one month in advance of the coverage effective date, so deductions change in December to pay for January coverage).

Reminder: The plan administrator for the State Health Plan is transitioning to Aetna on January 1, 2025. Watch for your new Aetna ID card and begin using it on Jan. 1, 2025, for all medical and pharmacy services. In addition, be sure to contact the phone numbers/websites listed on your new ID card if you have questions or need to file a claim in the new year. Note: Your 2024 ID card will no longer work after Jan. 1, 2025.
