The UNC System Office will host Senior Leader Onboarding on October 1–2, 2026 for newly appointed or interim cabinet-level leaders across the System. This program is designed to supplement campus executive onboarding plans by providing senior leaders with an overview of UNC System history, governance, finance and budget, board relations, strategy, innovation, and key points of connection with System Office leadership.
We have already identified several individuals and roles for the October cohort, but we want to ensure HR partners are aware of this opportunity and can incorporate it into onboarding plans for senior-level hires. Please save the date and contact Anne Schwarz with any new cabinet-level hires or appointments since January 2026 who should be considered for participation.
