Overall annual performance ratings for EHRA non-faculty employees must be reported to the UNC System Office no later than August 31, 2018, for employees subject to Section 300.2.18[R] of the UNC Policy Manual. Certain EHRA non-faculty are exempt from this policy, including:
- EHRA non-faculty employees of the UNC System Office at the level of president, senior vice president, vice president, and chief of staff subject to Section 300.1.1.I.A., of the UNC Policy Manual
- EHRA non-faculty employees of the constituent institutions at the level of chancellor, provost, vice chancellor, dean, or substantially similar titles, and any other individuals subject to Section 300.1.1.I.A., of the UNC Policy Manual
- EHRA employees who concurrently hold tenured faculty appointments
- Athletic directors, head coaches, and associate and assistant coaches
- Post-doctoral scholars
This requirement does not apply to temporary and other non-benefit eligible EHRA employees. This is the first year that EHRA non-faculty overall performance ratings will be reported to the UNC System Office.
