President’s Award for Excellence Nomination Form

The President’s Award for Excellence recognizes two System Office employees each year for substantial contributions toward the goals set in the Strategic Plan – for demonstrating their commitment to “making North Carolina the nation’s leader in affordability, accessibility, student success, economic impact, and excellent and diverse institutions.”

One supervisory and one non-supervisory position will be recognized each year. Each recipient will receive $1,000 and a display plaque, and will be nominated for the statewide Governor’s Award for Excellence. Any System Office staff member may nominate a colleague. Nominations will be solicited each winter for an award presentation at the spring System Office Town Hall meeting.

Please use the form below to complete your nomination. If you have a longer nomination or additional materials, please email it to SystemHR@northcarolina.edu. Please note that the nominee’s supervisor should be aware of the nomination before it is submitted.

Nominations are due by Friday, Feb. 10, 2023.
