UNC Data Mart dictionary tables are now available in Insight’s Redshift warehouse. These contain metadata about the data elements, column names, data types, definitions, and the datasets containing them, among other information, for each Data Mart. You will find one for each Data Mart — Student, HR and Finance — in the uncdm schema, named uncdm.sdm_dictionary_f, uncdm.hrdm_dictionary_f and uncdm.fdm_dictionary_f, respectively. You can find these and other UNC data objects that are available in Redshift in the Insight datasets list.
Versions that are available in campus schemas will be removed by the end of January 2021. Please redirect any SQL or other code or references to the uncdm objects above.
