We are extremely pleased to announce that registration for our 33RD ANNUAL UNC SYSTEM FINANCE CONFERENCE is now open! This reboot of our pandemic postponed 2020 conference is going VIRTUAL, and though we’ve had to cut back on the 50+ presentations, roundtables, and unconference discussions originally planned, the program team has assembled the top 21 most requested sessions and roundtables from the spring conference, presented by your colleagues.

Before you select the “Register Here” link below, make note of these important details:

  • This free conference will be spread over 5 days, with 3 one–hour sessions per day, plus a topic-specific roundtable. You must register for each session and roundtable that you want to attend. Once you complete each registration, a private Zoom invitation for that session will be sent to your inbox which you can also add to your calendar. When the session is set to begin, sign in as you would for any other Zoom meeting.
  • The Registration page has 6 tabs across the top for session information and a presenter bio tab below that. Each session tab represents a conference day where you will find the three daily sessions (including summaries and times) as well as a tab for all the roundtable sessions. Please be sure to register for each session you wish to attend. For each session, you will also be asked if you want the suggested 1-hour CPE.
  • Presentations will be recorded so that you may view them later. However, you will not be able to receive CPE credit from the recording because we cannot verify your attendance. To verify attendance during the live presentations you must answer all of the polling questions which will pop up from time to time during the session.
  • Our conference program is not registered with the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners, but the sessions are designed to meet Board requirements for North Carolina CPAs. CPE certificates will be sent to attendees via email.  If you require CPE, it is up to you to maintain appropriate documentation as required by the State Board of CPE Examiners.  In addition, each CPA is required to ascertain whether the session presented meets the needs/qualifies as CPE.

The NC A&T, UNC Greensboro, and Conference Board leadership team is excited to host this new virtual conference venture and hope you will find it as professionally rewarding as we think it will be. See you on Monday, April 5 when we kick off the conference at 8:45 AM with a quick business meeting and announcement of next year’s conference, leading into the opening session with our keynote speaker, UNCG’s Dr. Vidyaranya Gargeya and “The Key to Customer ‘Delight”: The Journey to Excellence”.

If you have any questions regarding conference registration please contact Patrick Krueger at p_kruege@uncg.edu.
